The Class Acting Studios has BIG PLANS to impact both, the local Charleston film community as well as the film industry as a whole.
Where we’ve come from.
In just over 3 years we’ve grown from one small scene class of 7 students to 8 classes with nearly 50 students total.
Our foundation.
Integrity.
Our foundation in built on integrity. Always.
Instruction is based on solid industry knowledge, taught by seasoned industry professionals, providing students with a firm foundation built to sustain them in the film industry long term.
Material is tailored to both new and seasoned actors meeting students right where they are and partnering with them in their specific goals as they move forward.

Classes are specifically created to foster deep community with in-house film opportunities furthering strong industry connections built upon that community.
Our Current needs.
A building.
We have far outgrown our space and are looking for a building!
Our dream is to build a custom space that meets the needs of our students, as well as, provide space to be utilized by the film community.
We are now officially raising the funds to move our studio out of our small, one room space in downtown Charleston to a multi-room space to better provide for both our students and the ever-growing needs of the studio!
We would love for you to partner with us!
For now, we are looking to lease an existing space(currently looking) but if the opportunity presented itself to build first-we would absolutely move forward with a build.

Scholarships.
This has been the dream for a very long time; to offer students scholarships.
We offer classes to students from 7th grade-adult.
Our students are hardworking, focused and eager to pursue their goals, however, there are times they are unable to continue their education, or enroll in their classes, due to economic hardship.

The REd Carpet Premiere
Our very first!
We are incredibly PROUD to be featuring our very first studio released feature film. This film is student written, student directed and the main cast are all studio students. This incredible film was written, and filming began, in 2024. We wrapped in August of 2025 and are set to host our very first red carpet premiere this December!
We would love for our incredible students to experience, a traditional, and beautiful, red carpet premiere for the movie they’ve all worked so very hard on, Burn.
Written and directed by student, Mitch Hoagland, with Emma J. Smith, Paulina Torres, Christopher Cook, Mark Gallo, Nick Orletsky and Mitch Hoagland leading the cast.

Long Term.
Film Studios and Filmmaking.
Dreaming Big.
End game, is to build a multi-sound stage studio in Charleston to be utilized by the larger film community. This is a multi-million dollar project that we hope to build as a long time legacy for current and future filmmakers.
Once more details are available we will be providing an opportunity to donate directly to this incredible ‘Dream Big’ studio for the Charleston area.
